Family Resources

Children's Learning Circle has become a strong community since it first opened its doors in 2020. Our community thrives on teamwork and supporting each other- whatever the need.

Resources You Might Find Useful

I have supported children at CLC with various family backgrounds, dietary needs, health conditions, and disabilities. Therapists have come to provide services to children in my care, and I have used their tricks and tips they have taught me to implement while caring for the kiddos needing services.

Early Intervention

Pennsylvania's Early Intervention Program provides coaching support and services to families with children, from birth to age 5, with developmental delays and disabilities. I will call for a parent-teacher conference if I feel that I have concerns about your child's development including vision and hearing; cognitive development; communication development; social/emotional development; adaptive development. EI support services are free in PA, and your child will be referred to screening and evaluation at a local program at: 1800-692-7288.

Big Emotions

Feeling big emotions is a natural part of growing up, and teaching what to do with them is at the heart of what I do at CLC.  I have an arsenal of strategies for helping little ones find their calm, set boundaries, communicate emotions, resolve conflicts, and more. When I need extra ideas for strategies or want to have a better understanding of mental health and learning disorders, I look up the website of American Academy of Pediatric/ Handling Big Emotions at www. aap.org  OR Child Mind Institute at www.childmind.org.

Feeling Hungry

Our AMAZING CLC community always comes together to collect non-perishable food items whenever they see my rallying emails. We usually donate to SHIM or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank. If your family is in need of signing up for food assistance programs, please call the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank's Call Center at 412-460-3663 X655. If you are interested in donating, you can find a link at pittsburghfoodbank.org.

Feeling Safe

CLC is a safe harbor for everyone. I am a mandated reporter, and I am required to report suspected abuse or neglect to ChildLine by calling 1-800-932-0313.
